The Chicagoland Regional Training was held October 24-25, 2024, at the Renaissance Hotel in Downtown Chicago, Illinois. A total of 27 people attended the event, including five members of the NKR team and representatives from 10 NKR Member Centers.

The Donor Games Championship is an annual in-person event that showcases elite donor athletes in a grueling series of workouts testing strength and endurance. The Donor Games 2024 Championship was held on September 14, 2024, at Affinity Athletics in Stamford, Connecticut.

Guests, including transplant physicians, member center executives and staff, and over 50 living kidney donors joined the NKR in honoring the achievements of the American transplant community.

The National Kidney Registry’s Transplant Coordinator Training Forum was held on Thursday, June 20, at the JW Marriott Essex House in New York City. The forum included 10 topics presented by peers from throughout the transplant community as well as question and answer sessions for each topic.

Attendees were briefed on cutting-edge topics including Kidney for Life, improving matching for compatible pairs and more. The National Kidney Registry relocated to a new headquarters at 585 West Putnam Avenue in Greenwich, Connecticut, in January 2022. The NKR is the sole occupant of the 11,286 square foot office building, which includes three floors, two lobbies and 29 offices.

The Grace Workout 2020 Open ran October 21-28 and featured a 30 clean and jerks workout for time. Weight for men was 135 lbs, 95 lbs for women; time limit was 30 minutes. The NKR team gathered to do the workout together.

At the Future Directions in Paired Exchange Summit and Coordinator Training Forum, world leaders in transplant gathered to share their knowledge and discoveries to facilitate more living donor transplants. The events were held June 27 and 29, 2019, at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel.
