Ryan Meehan

Before joining the NKR as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Ryan Meehan co-founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Cell Tolerance, Inc. (CTI), an early-stage biotechnology company focused on developing a cellular therapy to induce immunological tolerance in haploidentical sibling transplants. In 2023, Ryan transitioned to the NKR full-time while also co-founding ImmunoFree, where he leverages his expertise in immunological tolerance to expand its application to unrelated donor-recipient pairs within the solid organ transplant market.

Previously, Ryan was the Managing Partner of Aviano Capital, a special purpose acquisition fund with seed capital from a diverse range of private equity funds and family offices. His extensive experience spans operational and investment roles in the distributed power generation and energy trading industries.

Before transitioning to the private sector, Ryan served as an Airborne Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army, where he completed two deployments to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his distinguished service and is a graduate of both Army Ranger and Airborne Schools.

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School, and a Master of Arts in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania’s Lauder Institute.
